Which Ones Is Included in GDP for the United States?

Ok so I have a homework problem that is extremely straightforward but I think I am over thinking the question. Here are the options for which of these would be included in the GDP for the United States? Coca-Cola builds a new bottling plant in the United States. Maybe? Delta sells one of its existing airplanes to Korean Air. No Ms. Moneybags buys an existing share of Disney stock. No A California winery produces a bottle of Chardonnay and sells it to a customer in Montreal, Canada. Maybe? An American buys a bottle of French perfume. No? A book publisher produces too many copies of a new book; the books do not sell this year, so the publisher adds the surplus books to inventories. No

The GDP of a country is defined as the market value of all final goods and services produced within a country in a given period of time. That is, a transaction must occur and the good or service must be sold. Coca-Cola builds a new bottling plant in the United States. NO, unless Coke is producing this factory for the purpose of selling it to a competitor no financial transaction will occur. Delta sells one of its existing airplanes to Korean Air. YES, Delta has sold an airplane for presumably a profit. Ms. Moneybags buys an existing share of Disney stock. NO, a stock is not considered a good or service that affects GDP. Moreover, the stock is presumably purchased at market value (i.e., not for a premium or at a discount), so the national net gain/loss is zero. A California winery produces a bottle of Chardonnay and sells it to a customer in Montreal, Canada. YES, a good is sold. An American buys a bottle of French perfume. NO, the transaction benefits France’s GDP, not America’s. A book publisher produces too many copies of a new book; the books do not sell this year, so the publisher adds the surplus books to inventories. NO, not until the books are sold.

I need information on sending books into the California prison system.?

My cousin is incarcerated in Susanville, Ca. Apparently, they only accept books sent directly from a "publisher." Does anyone know a cheap way to send books into the system? Do they accept books from Amazon.com? It seems like some "publisher" should have worked a deal with the system, and offer good prices.

google is your friend, I bet you can find the phone number of the warden at the prison and ask someone there. I am sure if it is as you described, Amazon will be happy to take an order from you and ship it to any address you like.

Need good publisher 4 my book.?

I wrote a book (it is finished) and need a publisher to publish my work. All my friends who I have let read it say that it is really good, some like it better than twilight (teehee). I want to share it with the world, but I am stuck in a tiny town in California and can't go "publisher hunting" need publisher that is reliable and is in san fransisco or higher north in california. um... I was just writing shorthand and no it is not a vampire book. It is an original topic, so original that I am not at liberty to place it on the internet. I want to keep this idea to myself -until it is published of course- I used Twilight as a comparison because that is what is popular now- in fact I wrote it before I even read twilight. Look it up once it's published. My pen name is E.V. Dwyer. Thank you for your wonderful coments. Oh, and the teehee was only because I'm exited about my book. It is the first novel I have ever written, okay? I don't think that some exitement and joy are out of order in the career of writing.

Hello. You don't choose publishers based on how close they are to where you live, you choose them on quality and what kind of books they put out. The majority of trade publishers are based in New York. Go to your local bookstore and look at book similar to yours. Look at the spine and the title page to see who published them, then go online and find the publisher's website. Look for submission guidelines, and it will tell you how to submit. If they say they are not open to unsolicited submissions from unagented writers, you should either keep looking or try for an agent. Some resources to find an agent are agentquery.com and querytracker.net. You don't need to go anywhere to research publishers, the information can all be found online. You either mail or e-mail submissions, so location is not an issue. Never pay reading fees or editing fees to agents or publishers, that is a sign they are not legitimate.

I'm 15 and I want to publish a book?

How do I know if a publisher is legitamite? Can you recommend any in California? Do you have to have a degree in writting to publish a book?

A legitimate publisher would be listed in the Writer's Market, (a large book found in the library reference department, usually). If they accept manuscripts, they do not ask for a reading fee, do not ask you to give money for publishing or promoting, and have been in business for 5 years or more. To find publishing houses in California, use the Writer's Market or look at a good Writer's Magazine for listings. You don't need a degree but the grasp of spelling, punctuation, sentence structure and grammar are definite selling points. The book needs to be finished before an editor will look at it. At this point in time, editors are looking for any manuscripts having to do with mystery and intrigue, myths and legends, how-to do any sports-related activity, environmental solutions, and modern-day romances. The market is overdone with wizard/sorcery, vampire/werewolf, historical romances, diet tips, and relationship secrets so books in those fields stand to be rejected. Good luck. Hope to see you on the shelf some day

What's a good book publisher for epic/fantasy stories?

I'm currently in the middle of writing a fantasy book kinda like Conan The Barbarian but with plenty of creatures like Werewolves and Vampires, and I'm looking for a publisher that can get me many readers. The story, The Tale Of Wolff, is for more mature readers like the Conan stories like young adults/late teens. I ask what a good publisher is or a trusted website I can go to? I'm skeptical of just searching "book publishing" on search engines as I don't want to run into scams. I'm not sure if it helps any, but I also live in Northern California. I've NO info about how to contact an editor or a legitimate agent and once again, search engines can lead to plenty of scams. I've fully written 2 books already, this one will be my 3rd, and have no idea of the next step to take, what trusted websites to go to, what kinda people to talk to, etc.
